Bobby Major Jr. is one of the founders of the Class of 1965 Committee, and a Legacy Donor for his contributions to provide scholarships to our alma mater.
Bobby earned a B.S. in accounting at Southern University in New Orleans, and went on to become the first black Comptroller for the City of New Orleans. He founded Major Services Inc., an I-T Managed Service Provider for city and state agencies.
Married to Karen Beaulieu Major, Bobby is honored as an alumnus of faith, perseverance, and innovation who embodies the true spirit of St. Augustine High School.
Danny Bakewell was inducted in 2022.
Wayne Baquet was inducted in 2023.
