Donations from last year's 2022-2023 campaign which ended on April 15, 2023 totaled $25,970.00
This amount is now available to award scholarships and make endowment deposits during the summer of 2023.

WE ARE MAKING MORE
GRADUATES POSSIBLE

Our annual fund-raising campaigns have topped a total of $100,000 contributed to Saint Augustine High School over the past eight years.  Since we organized in 2015 after our 50th class reunion, nine students have been awarded scholarships by the Class of 1965 including three who have already graduated.  Total donations from our last annual campaign which ended on April 15, 2023:

These funds are now available for scholarships and endowment deposits this summer --- 2023.  
Overall during the past eight years, the Class of 1965 has donated more than a quarter of a million dollars to our Alma Mater. This includes individual classmate endowments and all other contributions.

Rhaoul was recently honored by the Baton Rouge chapter of the UrbanHe was one of the engineers who worked on construction of the Superdome in New Orleans.

Classmate Furnell Chatman was recently awarded the 2025 Legacy Award by the New Orleans Association of Black Journalists.  He
made history as the first African American hired by any TV news
station in New Orleans, then became the first Black to anchor his own newscast in Louisiana.  But his path was not easy.
