"M-A-X"  
   MASS 


A special "M-A-X" Mass was held for high school alumni from St. Mary, St. Aug, and Xavier Prep ---now known as Kathrine Drexel.  It took place on June 21, 2026 at                      Blessed Trinity Church.  The                          Mass was celebrated by St. Aug                    faculty member Father Tony                            Ricard.  He was recently named                                                 the new pastor of
                                            Blessed Trinity

Classmate Furnell Chatman was recently awarded the 2025 Legacy Award by the New Orleans Association of Black Journalists.  He
made history as the first African American hired by any TV news
station in New Orleans, then became the first Black to anchor his own newscast in Louisiana.  But his path was not easy.
